One of my favorites part of the day. Why? So many heartfelt moments are during this time. Not only will your photos tell your story from the beginning, but it's a chance to photograph those beautiful details.
1. MAKE SURE THE LOCATION HAS PLENTY OF NATURAL LIGHT
Many venues offer an on-site getting-ready suite. Which is fantastic but please make sure there is natural light. This is how we get those soft and elegant photos. Lighting does matter.
2. KEEP THE SPACE CLEAN
The day gets busy, especially with everyone getting hair and makeup done but make sure to keep all belonging in a specific location. This helps ensure your photographs don't look cluttered. Make sure to let your wedding party know where to store their items.
3. SELECT A LOCATION WITH AMPLE SPACE
No matter how big or small your wedding party is, selecting a location with enough space is always a good idea. Everybody will have room and helps give opportunity for various photos.
4. PUT ALL YOUR DETAILS IN A BOX
Before your wedding day, I will email you a "details" pdf. This is an example of items for your detail photos. Having these items in a box when I arrive helps keep the day rolling smoothly and saves time.
5. RELAX AND HAVE FUN
Lastly, remember to enjoy the day. You planned for months for this day, and it is finally here! Soak it all in and focus on yourself, your spouse, and the special moments you will never forget.
